Witoon Wera-Archakul, M.D.

Dr. Wera-Archakul (“Dr. Wera”) specializes in adult cardiology. He was born in Bangkok, Thailand. He earned his medical degree at Ramathibodi School of Medicine in Bangkok. Dr. Wera is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He is Level II Certified in Cardiovascular CT Angiography. Dr. Wera joined IHLA in 1997. He is a principal investigator for Illinois Heart and Lung Research Center, S.C. and a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC), National Lipid Association, Illinois State/McLean County Medical Society, American Medical Association (AMA), American Society of Echocardiography (ASE) and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT). Dr. Wera serves as Medical Director of Diagnostic and Rehabilitative Cardiology for BroMenn Regional Medical Center. Dr. Wera, his wife and two children reside in the Bloomington-Normal area.
