Samir H. Shah, M.D., specializes in adult cardiology. He earned his medical degree at B.J. Medical College in India, where he was born and raised. Dr. Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, Hypertension and Cardiovascular CT Angiography. Dr. Shah joined IHLA in 2002. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Illinois State/McLean County Medical Society, American Society of Hypertension, American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), American Heart Association (AHA), and the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT). He serves as Chairman of Cardiology for OSF St. Joseph Medical Center and as a principal investigator for Illinois Heart and Lung Research Center, S.C. Dr. Shah and his wife have three children.
