David W. Koh, M.D., F.A.C.C.P., F.A.A.S.M.

Dr. Koh specializes in adult pulmonary and sleep medicine. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to the United States at the age of five. He is fluent in English, Spanish and Korean. Dr. Koh earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Koh joined IHLA in 1999. He is a principal investigator for Illinois Heart and Lung Research Center, S.C. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), Illinois State/McLean County Medical Society, American Medical Association (AMA), Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American College of Physicians (ACP), and Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation. Dr. Koh serves as Chair of Medicine for BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Medical Director for IHLA’s Sleep Department, Medical Director for the Midwest Center for Sleep Medicine and is a member of the hospital board for BroMenn Regional Healthcare Center. Dr. Koh and his wife have two children.
