Chae O. Chu, M.D., F.A.C.C.P.

Dr. Chu specializes in adult pulmonary disease. He was born in Seoul, South Korea and grew up in Michigan. Dr. Chu received his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He is board certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Chu joined IHLA in 1997. He is a fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP) and a member of the American College of Physicians (ACP), American Thoracic Society (ATS), American Lung Association, Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM), American Medical Association (AMA) and McLean County/ Illinois State Medical Society. He serves as a principal investigator for Illinois Heart and Lung Research Center, S.C. Dr. Chu and his wife have two children.
