John S. Burr, M.D., F.A.A.S.M., F.A.C.C.P., and F.A.C.P

Dr. Burr specializes in adult pulmonology, critical care medicine and sleep medicine. He was born and raised in Pennsylvania, earning his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Burr is board certified in Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Burr joined IHLA in 2005. He is a fellow in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM), American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP), and American College of Physicians (ACP). He is a member of the American Thoracic Society, McLean County/Illinois State Medical Society, and American Medical Association and serves as a principal investigator for Illinois Heart and Lung Research Center. Dr. Burr and his wife have two children.
